Earthquakes
Earthquake data from the USGS was styled using Mapbox’s heat map feature, displaying live data of all earthquakes over a magnitude of 2.5 over the past month. This typically will highlight the Ring of Fire around the Pacific Ocean as we are areas in central North America, the Caribbean and in the Himalayas. However, as the data is updated daily these locations might change. Zooming in to each earthquake location provides the opportunity to click to discover more details about each event.
